Our method

How scores work

No mystery, no bias. Here's exactly how a casino earns its score and its place in the list — from licence checks to the final ranking.

How the scores work

Same method, every casino. No favourites.

1

We check the licence

Only UKGC-licensed casinos make the list. We verify every operator on the public register — non-negotiable.

2

We score four things

Offer value, game range, mobile feel and reliability — weighted and combined into one score, every time.

3

We rank them

Best spot up top, each one below scored a touch lower. Scores are relative to the current field.

4

You tap through

Pick the spot that fits your play style and head straight to the offer. Always read the operator's terms first.

What each check weighs

Four areas roll into one score out of 100. Here is how much each contributes.

Welcome offer value

30%

Headline bonus, free spins, wagering requirements, expiry and how achievable the offer is in practice.

Game range

25%

Breadth of slots, table games, live dealers and providers. Niche titles and exclusives add a small boost.

Mobile experience

25%

Load speed, navigation, payment flow and whether the site feels built for phone-first play.

Reliability

20%

Withdrawal consistency, KYC speed, support responsiveness and how clearly terms are presented.

From checks to ranking

We roll our four checks into a single score out of 100. The casino at the top of the list gets the highest score, with each one below scored a little lower. So a score is always relative to the rest of the current list — a fair, side-by-side comparison.

We revisit the list often. When offers change or an experience improves, positions move. Commercial partnerships never affect the order — the checks read the same either way.

If two casinos score very close together, small differences in mobile feel or payout speed can decide the order. We do not round scores to hide gaps — what you see is the outcome of the same formula applied to every operator.

Same checks, every time

A new operator and a long-established brand go through identical steps. No shortcuts for partners.

Relative scores

A score of 92 means the casino sits near the top of today's list — not that it scored 92% on an absolute test.

Published method

We describe our approach openly so you can see the reasoning behind every position.

Regular refresh

Offers change weekly. We revisit the list often so rankings reflect the current market, not a stale snapshot.
